Pollen

Pollen is the male reproductive cell of the flower and is the basis of the bees’ diet.

Research has shown that pollen is not only a superfood for bees but also for humans. It offers energy to those who exercise. It is rich in protein and contains minerals, enzymes, carbohydrates and vitamins. Consuming it helps us feel full of energy while helping our immune system to strengthen.

Consumption of pollen offers several benefits to our body, the remission of certain allergies, the improvement of digestion thanks to various enzymes it contains and the strengthening of the cardiovascular system. Thanks to its high content of antioxidants, it helps the body’s defenses by shielding our body against free radicals. It also has anti-inflammatory action which helps in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema.

The beneficial properties of pollen begin to appear very soon, just 2-4 months from the time we start consuming it.

The amount of fresh pollen that we can initially consume is 1 teaspoon a day, until our stomach gets used to it.
We can gradually increase it to 2 teaspoons.

We keep our pollen fresh, up to 2 years in the freezer.
